Our last-mile delivery capabilities
Intelcom | Dragonfly provides last-mile delivery through a network of business partners called Independent Delivery Contractors (IDCs). In Canada, our delivery network operates from 8:00 am until 10:00 pm, seven days a week, and reaches 94% of Canadians, with an electric delivery footprint that expands every day. The company’s extended operating hours mean parcels can be injected into the system quite late in the day and still meet the “next-day delivery promise” that is a common expectation of both retailers and their customers.
In 2024 for example, our consumer satisfaction performance (based on more than 3.4 million reviews) was ranked at 4.6 out of 5. Our on-time delivery performance is equally impressive, meeting the commitments of our Service Level Agreements at 98%.
Transport last mile is demanding, rife with many challenges, and often defined by fluid conditions – such as traffic, weather, and geographical considerations. Intelcom | Dragonfly has developed technologies that effectively meet and master those challenges. This includes the company’s route optimization technology, advanced applications for address verification before deliveries are loaded into vehicles, and real-time tracking, among others. This focus on optimisation route performance ensures speed and reliability at scale.
