Speed up the middle mile
The middle mile begins once your goods make it to one of our regional hubs. This phase of the delivery process is all about getting your packages as efficiently as possible to the station closest to their final destination. At one of our many hubs, your packages are sorted for distribution to another station in our extensive delivery network. Think of this as a hub-and-spoke model, where goods arrive at the hub and are redirected to the correct station, or spoke.

Our delivery network of regional hubs and stations is always growing. Back in November 2021, we opened our first state-of-the-art automated sorting hub in Mississauga, Ontario, equipped with two automated conveyor sorters, which process thousands of packages per hour.
In 2022, we invested in a second automated hub in Anjou, Quebec, to further support our delivery network. In 2024, we opened a new hub in Québec city to serve as another injection point for first- and middle-mile services.
The new Québec city hub strategically positions us to better serve the eastern parts of the province. This regional logistics centre allows us to take on more volume and build capacity and better flexibility so we can offer you faster, more competitive services.
